Welcome to March Madness! It’s that exciting time of year when the best college basketball teams compete in the NCAA Tournament. But before we get to the big dance, let’s take a look at the SEC Tournament bracket.
First Round Matches
The SEC Tournament kicks off with four First Round matches. On March 9th, Georgia will take on Ole Miss, followed by Vanderbilt against Texas A&M. The next day, South Carolina will play against Missouri, and then Mississippi State faces off against Kentucky.
Quarterfinals
The winners of the First Round matches will advance to the Quarterfinals on March 11th. Georgia or Ole Miss will play Alabama, while Vanderbilt or Texas A&M faces Tennessee. South Carolina or Missouri will go up against Arkansas, and Mississippi State or Kentucky will play LSU.
Semifinals
On March 12th, the winners of the Quarterfinals will move on to the Semifinals. The first match will feature the winners of Georgia/Ole Miss vs. Alabama against the Vanderbilt/Texas A&M vs. Tennessee winners. The second match will see the winners of South Carolina/Missouri vs. Arkansas taking on the winners of Mississippi State/Kentucky vs. LSU.
Championship Game
The winners of the Semifinals will go head to head in the Championship Game on March 13th. Who will be crowned the 2022 SEC Tournament champion? It could be any of the teams facing off in this tournament.
