Baby Tink
You know how much we love Tinkerbell, well now get a load of this: a DIY project that lets you create your very own Baby Tink! Imagine how adorable this would look on your bookshelf or in your little girl’s bedroom.
The great thing about this project is that it’s super easy and it won’t cost you a fortune. All you need is a few basic materials and you’re good to go. Here’s what you’ll need:
- White polymer clay
- Green polymer clay
- Gems or rhinestones in a variety of colors
- Gold wire
- Black acrylic paint
- Paintbrushes of various sizes
- Clear nail polish
First things first, you need to create the body of Baby Tink. Take a small piece of white clay and roll it into a ball. Flatten the ball slightly to create the base for the body. Next, take another piece of white clay and form it into a teardrop shape. This will be the head of your Baby Tink. Attach the head to the body by pressing them together gently.
Now it’s time to create Tink’s dress. Take a small piece of green clay and roll it out into a thin sheet. Cut out a dress shape and place it on top of the body. Be sure to smooth out any rough edges or bumps. You can use a toothpick or the edge of a paintbrush to create small details on the dress, such as the neckline.
Next up, it’s time to add some bling to your Baby Tink. Use your gems or rhinestones to add some sparkle to the dress. You can also use the gems to create a belt or a hair accessory for your Baby Tink.
Now it’s time to make Baby Tink’s wings. Take a small piece of gold wire and bend it into a wing shape. Carefully press the wire into the back of Baby Tink’s body, making sure it stays in place. You can use a small amount of clay to secure the wire in place.
Once everything is in place, it’s time to paint. Use black acrylic paint to create Tink’s eyes and mouth. You can also add some details to the dress or wings using the paint. Once everything is dry, use clear nail polish to give Baby Tink’s eyes a shine.
And there you have it, a cute and easy DIY project that Tinkerbell fans of all ages will love! So what are you waiting for? Get your craft on and create your very own Baby Tink today!
