Jack Skellington Pumpkin Carving StencilHow to Use the Stencils

Using these stencils couldn’t be easier. Once you’ve chosen the design you want to use on your pumpkin, simply print it out and use scissors to cut out the black parts of the stencil. Make sure you keep the white parts, as these are the parts of the stencil that will be carved out of your pumpkin.

Next, cut a hole in the top or bottom of your pumpkin (depending on whether you want to light it from the top or bottom) and scoop out the pulp and seeds inside. Once your pumpkin is clean and dry, tape or pin the stencil onto the pumpkin, making sure it’s straight and in the right place.

Now it’s time to get carving! Use a pumpkin carving knife to carefully cut along the lines of the stencil, being sure to carve all the way through the pumpkin flesh. Once you’ve carved out all the white sections, use a nail or toothpick to poke holes in the pumpkin along the lines of the black sections of the stencil. Remove the stencil and use these holes as a guide to carve out the black sections of the design.

Once you’ve finished carving, insert a candle or light source into the pumpkin and enjoy your spooky creation!

Other Ideas

If you love the design of these stencils but don’t want to spend time carving a pumpkin, there are plenty of other ways to use them. You could print them out on cardstock and hang them up as decorations, or use them as a template for a spooky Halloween cake or cookies.

However you choose to use them, these Jack Skellington pumpkin carving stencils are the perfect way to add some spookiness to your Halloween decor. Happy carving!
