Printable Oscar Nominations 2022

Listen up, y’all! The Academy Awards are comin’ up fast, and if you’re a movie buff like me, you’re probably gettin’ ready to cast your ballot. Lucky for you, I’ve got just the thing to help you make your picks - a printable ballot!

First Up: Best Picture

Academy Awards 2022 VotingNow, I know folks have been talkin’ about a few different movies for this category, but I gotta say, I’ve got a soft spot for The Power of the Dog. Benedict Cumberbatch and Kirsten Dunst both give performances that’ll knock your socks off, and the direction from Jane Campion is absolutely stunning. But hey, who am I to tell you what to do with your vote?

Next Up: Best Actor

Academy Awards 2022 VotingThis one’s a toughie, but I gotta give it to Will Smith for King Richard. The man poured his heart and soul into that role, and it really shows on screen. Plus, it’s just a great movie all around - if you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it.

Moving On: Best Actress

Academy Awards 2022 VotingFor this one, I gotta go with Lady Gaga for her role in House of Gucci. Now, I know some folks weren’t too keen on that movie, but I thought it was a blast - and Gaga really stole the show. She’s got some serious acting chops, y’all.

Best Supporting Actor

Academy Awards 2022 VotingListen, I know everyone’s talkin’ about Troy Kotsur for Coda - and don’t get me wrong, his performance was truly incredible. But I gotta give this one to Jamie Dornan for Belfast. He’s not usually an actor that’s on my radar, but he really surprised me with his turn as a loving father and husband. Plus, that movie is just a feel-good gem.

Best Supporting Actress

Academy Awards 2022 VotingHands down, this one goes to Ariana DeBose for West Side Story. She’s a triple threat - acting, singing, dancing - and she brings so much heart to the role of Anita. Plus, have you seen those dance moves? Girl can move.

Best Director

Academy Awards 2022 VotingAlright, folks, time for my hot take: I think this category is a toss-up between Jane Campion for The Power of the Dog and Steven Spielberg for West Side Story. Both movies are absolutely masterful in their own ways, so I’m not sure which way I’m leanin’ just yet.

Well, there you have it, folks - my picks for the big categories at this year’s Academy Awards. Of course, there are plenty of other awards to be handed out, so make sure you fill out your full ballot with your own choices. And hey, even if you don’t agree with me on all of these picks, isn’t it great that there are so many incredible movies out there for us to choose from?
