It’s worth noting that, irrespective of whether you’re a seasoned race enthusiast or simply an auto enthusiast, you’re bound to come across something that catches your eye. The events are as diverse as they come, with modifieds, late models, super stocks, and mini stocks all set to take the track at one point or another.
Your Guide to the Racing Action
To make the most of the summer racing extravaganza at Evergreen Speedway, we’ve compiled a comprehensive guide to help you stay on top of the events as they progress.
As previously mentioned, the events will begin on May 8th, with practice scheduled to start at 1 pm.
The first race event of the season is on May 29th, featuring the always exciting super latemodels in their anticipated return after last year’s regular season race. Meanwhile, if you’re looking for a bit more variety, the June 12th lineup is an excellent choice, featuring the mini-stocks, hornets, stingers, and thunder trucks all set to race their way into the record books.
However, if late models are more your thing, then June 26th is a date to look forward to, with the ground pounders put to the test in the Summer Showdown. The drivers will compete for a $15,000 prize pool while placing their reputation and skills on the line.
The month of July brings about midgets, legends, and outlaw figure 8s on July 10th, followed by a round of regular racing on July 24th. Then, August brings us the ever-popular Dwarf Car Nationals and a chance to see some of the niftiest and tiniest vehicles around. Meanwhile, the fans can enjoy the demo derby and boat race on August 28th to wrap up the season on a high note.
Stay Safe & Responsible
Finally, as always, we would like to remind everyone to stay safe and responsible while enjoying these racing events. We must make sure that every attendee gets a chance to cheer for their favorite drivers and witness some glorious moments while not putting themselves or others in harm’s way.
