The dice game is a fun and easy game that can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. With just a few simple rules, you can play this game over and over again, always with a different outcome. And luckily for you, I’ve found a great printable with easy-to-follow instructions to help you get started!
Getting Started
First things first, you’ll need to gather some materials for this game. All you’ll need is a pair of dice and the printable instructions sheet. You can use any type of dice you have on hand, from traditional six-sided to specialty dice with more or less sides.
The Game
Now that you have your materials, it’s time to start playing! The object of the game is to be the player with the highest score at the end of the game. You’ll take turns rolling the dice and keeping track of your score.
Each player gets to roll the dice up to three times on their turn, trying to get the highest score possible. You can choose to keep the score from each roll or try again for a better score. However, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- Any roll that results in a total of 7 automatically earns the player 2 points, regardless of the other dice rolled.
- Any roll that results in a total of 11 automatically earns the player 3 points, regardless of the other dice rolled.
- Any roll that results in a total of doubles (both dice showing the same number) earns the player that number in points. For example, rolling two sixes earns the player 6 points.
- If a player rolls three of a kind, they automatically earn 5 points.
- If a player rolls snake eyes (both dice showing a 1), they automatically lose all their points for that turn.
Winning the Game
The game ends when one player reaches a score of 25 or more points. The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins!
So what are you waiting for? Print out the instructions sheet, grab some dice, and get ready for a fun and easy game that the whole family can enjoy!
