Hey family,
I wanted to share some helpful resources I came across recently that I think could benefit anyone who’s struggling with codependency. As a community, we have to take care of each other and it’s important to acknowledge when we need help.
Prayer Handouts Worksheet
This worksheet is a great way to reflect on your relationship with your Higher Power and ask for guidance in managing your codependency. Sometimes, our struggles can feel overwhelming, but it’s important to remember that we’re not alone and we can always turn to our faith for support.
Here’s an example of one of the prayers:
“Dear God, please help me to find the strength to set healthy boundaries with my loved ones. I know that my worth is not determined by their approval or validation, and I trust that you will guide me towards a healthier and happier life. Amen.”
Codependency Quiz
It can be hard to recognize when we’re struggling with codependency, especially when it’s been a part of our lives for so long. This quiz can help you identify some of the signs and symptoms of codependency and give you a starting point for getting the help you need.
Some of the questions on the quiz include:
“Do you struggle with saying no to others, even when you don’t want to do what they’re asking?
“Do you feel responsible for the actions and feelings of your loved ones, even when it’s not your fault?”
If you answered yes to any of these questions, it might be worth reaching out to a therapist or support group to work on managing your codependency.
Codependency Worksheets
These worksheets are a great way to explore your codependency and look at it from different angles. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution to codependency, and it’s important to try different approaches to see what works best for you.
Some of the worksheets include:
- Building Self-Esteem
- Recognizing Triggers
- Setting Boundaries
- Forgiveness
Working through these worksheets can help you gain a better understanding of your codependency and develop strategies for managing it.
I hope these resources are helpful to anyone who’s struggling with codependency. Remember, it’s okay to ask for help and take care of yourself. We’re all in this together.
