Are you ready for some Cubs baseball? The 2023 schedule has been released and we are excited to share it with you. Check out some of the highlights below.
Opening Day
Opening Day is on Thursday, March 30, 2023, and the Cubs will host the St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field. This is always one of the most anticipated games of the year, and this year will be no exception.
Interleague Play
The Cubs have a number of interleague series this year. They will host the Kansas City Royals, Detroit Tigers, and Los Angeles Angels. The Cubs will travel to play the Cleveland Indians, Seattle Mariners, and Houston Astros. These games are always exciting, as we get to see different teams and players than we normally would during the National League season.
Play the White Sox
The Crosstown Classic is always a highlight of the regular season, and this year the Cubs will host the White Sox at Wrigley Field on Tuesday, June 6, and Wednesday, June 7. The Cubs will then travel to Guaranteed Rate Field to play the White Sox on Thursday, June 8, and Friday, June 9.
August is a Busy Month
August is always a busy month for the Cubs, as they play a number of divisional series. They will play the Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals, and Cincinnati Reds during the month. The Cubs will also have interleague games against the Detroit Tigers and Houston Astros during this month.
September is the Final Stretch
September is always a critical month in the baseball season, as teams make their final push for the playoffs. The Cubs will play two back-to-back series against the Milwaukee Brewers and Cincinnati Reds in early September. They will then play a four-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals at the end of the month.
Final Series of the Season
The final series of the regular season will be against the Pittsburgh Pirates, and it will be played at Wrigley Field. This series will take place from Friday, September 29, to Sunday, October 1.
