Keeping your home clean and organized can be a daunting task, but it doesn’t have to be. With a weekly cleaning schedule in place, you can stay on top of your cleaning tasks without feeling overwhelmed.
Weekly Cleaning Schedule
Our weekly cleaning schedule is designed to help you maintain a clean and tidy home without spending hours each day cleaning. Here’s a breakdown of our schedule:
Monday: On Mondays, we like to start the week off by doing a quick clean of the bathrooms. We wipe down the sinks, toilets, and showers, and we also sweep and mop the bathroom floors.
Tuesday: Tuesdays are dedicated to cleaning the kitchen. We wipe down the counters, clean the appliances, and sweep and mop the kitchen floor.
Wednesday: We like to tackle the bedrooms on Wednesdays. We change the sheets, dust the furniture, and vacuum the floors.
Thursday: Thursdays are for the living areas. We dust the furniture, vacuum the floors, and tidy up any clutter.
Friday: On Fridays, we do a thorough clean of the floors throughout the house. We sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors.
Saturday: Saturdays are for laundry. We do all of the household laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away.
Sunday: Sundays are our rest day, but we do take a little bit of time to tidy up any clutter that may have accumulated throughout the week.
Deep-Cleaning Schedule
In addition to our weekly cleaning schedule, we also like to do a deep-cleaning of our home once a month. This deep-cleaning schedule is designed to get into all the nooks and crannies that we may have missed during our weekly cleaning.
Week 1 - Kitchen: During the first week of the month, we deep clean the kitchen. We clean the oven, microwave, refrigerator, and all other kitchen appliances. We also clean the cabinets and drawers and scrub the backsplash and countertops.
Week 2 - Bathrooms: During the second week of the month, we deep clean the bathrooms. We scrub the tub and shower, clean the grout, and wipe down the tiles. We also declutter and organize the bathroom cabinets and drawers.
Week 3 - Living Areas: During the third week of the month, we deep clean the living areas. We dust all surfaces, including baseboards and crown molding. We also spot-clean the upholstery and carpeting and clean the windows and window sills.
Week 4 - Bedrooms: During the fourth week of the month, we deep clean the bedrooms. We vacuum and rotate the mattresses, clean the bedding, and dust all surfaces, including baseboards and crown molding.
We hope that our cleaning schedule can help you stay organized and on top of your household cleaning tasks. Remember, keeping a clean and tidy home doesn’t have to be overwhelming as long as you have a plan in place.
